You bet 100 chips on the carpet to announce that you play. The dealer is 2 cards and uses 2 cards. A map was unveiled the other not. You get an ace and an 8. The ace is 1 or 11 points. So you have in your hands either 19 or 9 points. The dealer's card is a discovery 4. Logically your game is better. You can stop and hope that 19 will be enough to win. He asked another card. You can too. You receive a J. So you have 19 or 29 points knowing that you can not pass 21, it means that you are 19. The dealer sees a 9. So you know he has 4 +9 = 13. If it is a face down card c is lost. You want to stop. 19 is good. The dealer asks another: this is a figure. He lost because the views are top 3 cards to 21.
